QDV offers complete project management of drilling, completion and work over projects on a fee basis as well as offering services on an all-inclusive turnkey basis.

Our Approach

Our highly experienced team will take on the day to day running of the project from the planning to the operational phase, ensuring smooth running, adherence to high safety standards and compliance with local rules and regulations. The team will advise Client on decisions at all stages of operations while the latter retain overall authority.

Our Mission

Maintain a systematic approach to HSE management that is designed to ensure both compliance with the law, and achieve continuous performance improvement.
Set targets for performance improvement, measuring, appraising and implementing feedback
Require and ensure that all sub-contractors manage project HSE in line with ( QDV ) policy.
Ensure that each business unit acknowledges the right and exercises the duty to intervene immediately if any unsafe acts or condition arises, or when activities would not be in compliance with the approved project management policies.

About QDV

Quantum Drilling Ventures (QDV) initially a Delaware, U.S.A. Corporation established in late 2006 and presently being incorporated as a UK identity, offers complete project management of drilling, completion and work over projects on a fee basis as well as offering services on an all-inclusive turnkey basis.

The QDV Management Team have over 400 years of cumulative operational experience working in remote desert environments on successful start-ups with Anadarko Petroleum, CEPSA, Hunt Oil, Kerr McGee, Amerada Hess, Petronas and Sonatrach/Halliburton in Algeria.

We have also provided Halliburton Energy Services with energy professionals for their turnkey drilling projects with Shell, ENI and ExxonMobile in Iraq.

We bring to the table a reputation for managing efficient projects in difficult desert environments

How QDV operates

Establish Base office with minimum staff requirement.

Coordinate importation of required materials with service providers and selected customs representatives including communications equipment.

Establish tubular and materials stockage/warehouse area, preferably at the field production facility.

Generate detailed drilling AFE’s for Operator’s approval.

Generate detailed daily drilling cost estimates.

Generate detailed drilling programs.

Drilling supervisory personnel in conjunction with Operator:

Manage the operational aspects of the drilling campaign.

Generate and distribute required reports Ministry during the drilling operation.
